Some very cheap ones are finicky and can "burn" out when when receiving power. Usually buy the packs of three or more to avoid an issue and it's only few dollars more. Maybe try a different brand.

Do the adapters you've used in eGPU then work in MacMini?
Adapter that confirmed working in MacMini then work in eGPU?
Do your DP port(s) have any issue?
Hey sorry for very late reply. ye all the adapters worked only once when plugged in, when removed and plugging back in, it did not more recognise/show anything anymore. That was same for eGPU and Mac mini.. I know that the adapters are all fine, as through bootcamp --> windows all headless adapters work and show up on the same eGPU..

Getting massive performance loss with eGPU on my MacBook Pro, not cool whatsoever.. latest is two DP's and one HDMI for better performance I take it?

This is all happening due to drivers? So future releases should hopefully fix eGPU performance loss?

I get very big difference running same tests under bootcamp windows and then on Mac OS .

On MacBook Pro the eGPU is like heavily limited...eGPU is good performance wise as windows tests prove it..just cannot get it to use the available performance when under Mac OS..

Thanks mate
