Meebo iPhone App Finally Coming Feb. 16th!!!

Finally, i waitied a long while for Meebo.. I think i can finally ditch my AIM app for this.
I just hope it keeps me logged in all the time at least or until i sign out myself.
Other than that i wish there was a way to add your own picture to your icon like AIM. If there is a way and im missing it can someone post a reply ?

You can set it from the meebo.com website on your computer.
 
You can ? can you add your own pic or is a default one ? Once i add will it also show the pic to any AIM contacts i have.

I wish Meebo had a mac desktop client.

Edit: Meebo also appears to lack the priority settings that Beejive has, the ones used by Google Talk. That's a bummer.
 
Nice, but seems very unstable here. Had several crashes in a short time of use. And really need to know what the log-out time is as you can't set it.

Beejive is still the bees knees. Hands down, IM+ second. Trillian next. Meebo is ehhhhh
 
Meebo is nice - and extremely fast - but BeeJive's multi/group chat is a must.

If Meebo could integrate group chat and chat across platforms it would be great.
 
Update released today at least in the UK app store. Says it fixes a critical crash.

Just grabbed this; the interface is lovely, by far the nicest I've used so far, although I can't say I've ever used Beejive purely because of the price.

An almost perfect with a super nice interface, but it doesn't show you the e-mail address of contacts (just their username - argggh!) and it'd be nice to be able to send pictures too I guess, but otherwise it's great.
 
Just a quick question as I'd like to entirely disable push notifications and only show as being online when I have the app open (don't ask...) but how do I do this?

I've followed the guide as per this page http://www.meebo.com/support/article/110/ and set everything to 'Off', but will I still show up as online to other people?

this is currently a fail for me, I do not want all my accounts to have the same avatar. Please i hope they add "use default avatar option" other then that i really liked the app but i just stopped using for the avatar issue.

You will still show up as online to people.

Best thing you can do is either go invisible and message people from there. or click the Accounts button and sign off before closing the application.
 
Many thanks Iron, I'll re-enable those notifications and sign out of the account then! :)

Really loving Meebo I have to say, a few things I don't like too much, but generally... pretty awesome (the way it notifies you of a message in Gmail, even after you've received it using the proper Google chat client for example!)
