[MERGED] App Store update icons blank/missing

Whomever merged these two threads please undo it. These are entirely separate issues.

The blank icons in the App Store seems to be a relatively new issue (last day or so, although I understand it has been happening to some people before) one that has been reproduced by Apple, seems like a server side issue that will get resolved quickly.

The original issue with blank icons in the App Launcher is a separate issue that we have no idea why it's happening.

Update. Since iOS 9.1 I do not seem to be having this problem any longer. I hate to jinx it, but it's been a week and the problem has not returned. I've also hard-rebooted the phone, with many 1st party apps running, which in the past would cause the problem, and again the problem has not come back. Fingers crossed. Anyone else?

I have had this problems for months. Then I came across a hidden feature in iOS that clear some kind of AppStore temporary cache. Google for "quickly tap 10 times appstore". Just tried it and it seemed to do the trick! My icons are now loaded directly in the update tab and whole AppStore seems to much more snappy.
