I don't doubt you, but here's some links that are calling this a worm.

It sounds like there are two ssh "exploits" (and I use that term loosely). The first is the Dutch guy trying to get people to pay to have his malware removed and another with the Rick Ashley photo.

What I don't understand is why people are even using ssh when programs like Iphone Explorer are out there for free and are much faster, easier, and apparently safer.

After reading this thread I FINALLY found out that this security problem doesn't affect me since I don't have OpenSSH or netatalk installed.
