Merom and regular MacBooks

So isn't the 20% better performance a reason to want Merom?

That's what I'm waiting for. I can stand getting Meron now with the 667 MHz bus instead of Q2 2007 with the 800 MHz one. Otherwise waiting for 64-bit, show me the RAM support.

Someone tell me the benefit of only 64-bit when you can only address less then 4 GB of RAM.

I'll give you one, from a Java Developer's perspective. A 32-bit Java Virtual Machine can only be sized around 1.4gb. That's just not enough for many applications. Yes, I need it. And yes, 3gb would be far better than 1.4gb for me personally.

Don't tell me it's not a selling point. You don't know how I use my computer.
