Messenger Bag vs. Backpack for Photography

Agreed. I have two Crumpler bags: 7 Million Dollar Home and Whickey and Cox.

I loaded the 7MDH once with a 15" MBP, 50D, 70-200/2.8, 24-70/2.8, 10-22, and 50/1.4 ... but I only did it once. That load is tough to carry, even in a backpack. Having it slung over one shoulder is unbearable, IMO.

I use the W&C to get all of my gear "on location", then shoot out of the 7MDH. If I know that I'll only need one or two lenses, I'll take the 7MDH.
