Metax Not Working for Anyone Else?

Sorry, I failed to say I'm the developer of tagChimp. There is no new version of MetaX. I've reworked the code at tagChimp to get MetaX working with tagChimp again.

Just continue using MetaX as you have been. It's just that, from now on, there should be less cursing and more productivity. :)

It's always been able to search tagChimp, granted, for a while there it was spotty, but I rewrote the kajigger and enabled the upload-mo-tron and all is well again.

Subler added tagChimp lookup capability a month or so ago.

Awesome, I wondered what had changed as I had been used to manually filling in all the tags the past few months; tagged a bunch of movies the other day and they all looked up flawlessly! Nice to see and thanks for the work -- I only hope the developer of MetaX on the Mac follows through with a new version in the near future.
 
I am still having issues with MetaX finding existing tags data. I have been more successful when I shorten the title to search on to only one of the words in the movie title. For example, I tagged "The Travelers Wife" this morning. When I put the full title in, MetaX got nothing. When I shortened it to "Time", it found an existing tag set. So, that has been my strategy ... try the whole title, if that fails, then try individual words in the title. Weird, but it works.
 
MetaX has been working fine up until last week. Haven't used it as I've been out of town but its not completing any tag searches at all for me right now.
 
@imahawki I'm going to assume you are on a Mac. I haven't got metax to work in a long time. I have been using subler for my tagging. works great and is very fast.

Great call, Metax stopped working for me - pretty sweet that Subler can do it and I think it does it better than Metax did.

Thanks for the tip.
 
I did, however, have MetaX working on the Mac until about two days ago. So there must be something new that happened that is causing it...
