I just though, if you want Windows on your machine, you have to have the Windows licence sticker on your iMac/MBP.

Where did you stick yours? :D

Personally, I wouldn't stick ANY stickers on my mac. I hate that when you buy a windows laptop, or even desktop you get a dozen stickers all over it. I don't feel the need to list the entire specs of my system on the case.

Odd. I bought the retail Pro version and there's no sticker in it. Even so it wouldn't be seen on my iMac.

Ha, this is a joke, right? :D

I tend to put computer stickers everywhere, my iPod Apple logo stickers are on my Toshiba and I have some Pentium 4 stickers on AMD K6 boxes, to make them look nicer.

What kinda propaganda do we like?

Apple stickers on skis, car, books, and so on?

Microsoft windows sticker under Macbook pro, Intel Inside on the right hand side of the trackpad, all the warranty if void stickers (about 6), the stickers they give you when you have sent your machine back (6 times also), the ATI sticker?

Thats quite true! If you stick Windoze XP on your Mac, it should be law that you have put the sticker on your Mac as well. Preferably in the middle of the screen or wherever it causes the most disruption. ;) :p

I wouldn't dare stick one on my Mac.

I said this as the licence agreement states it must be on the case of the machine. So, it has to be on by law.

Steve1496, if you got no stickers, they either forgot to pack one, or it's not a legit copy.

Boy are you asking for it here at the Cult of Macheads:D

I am new to the Mac world - purchased my mac about 2 months ago, and after a few weeks of tinkering and figuring it out - I at this moment have a Macbook that is 100% running Windows 7. It runs the Mac better than Mac OSX did.. Kinda od. I guess, "Im a PC"..?

I took a Intel Inside P4 Sticker and stuck it on my Palm Pilot, looks really funny there:D

I put a P4 sticker on the back of an old nokia when I was at school. Yeah, I was cool.

ew ew ew... bit of an expensive PC wouldn't you say?

Also, a Mac is only a Mac when it's running Mac OS.

Retail copies do not come with a license sticker.

Indeed, the license agreement that requires a sticker on the case of the machine only applies to OEM installations which cannot be moved between computers. The retail/volume license/software assurance/TechNet/etc. versions do not have stickers and can be used on another machine if it is uninstalled.
