You'll run out of RAM long before you run out of SoC cycles. I'd take more RAM over fake bloated dorkbench results anyday.

In my recent experience with my Pixel 3a (4gb RAM), the phone sometimes taking a while to load certain apps. But it never freezes on me. I think the SD 670 sometimes getting trouble to load certain apps, while the Android 11 RAM management behaving more like iOS, by killing background apps more than Android in the past.
