I don't have an Apple TV at the moment, and I have been using my MacBook Pro with Infuse Pro for Plex movies and TV shows. But I ran into this annoyance every time I shut down or restart my AVR Denon. My macOS Audio MIDI Setup always revert to 2 channels. I had to go in the setup and select 6 channels every time.
Why can't the Audio MIDI Setup save and recognize the same device? It does recognize the same display settings, just not the audio.
