Milanese band only, June delivery

I bought one on Craigslist, after the fact it had a defective clasp. So I took it to the apple store for a replacement. 48 hours later, I had a brand new ML band.

I'd still be waiting another 2 weeks for my order and I ordered May 10th!!

No, if you order now you'll get it later, they still ship the first orders first even though the "ships in x-x weeks" make it look different.

They really must have solved some production issues since they seem to ship all bands ordered from the beginning of April to the end of May at the same time.

I guess I will find out. My wife ordered one under her account. Let's see what happens ...

I cancelled my Milanese watch order since I certainly expected the band to be here earlier. I guess I was severely wrong and I am on a 11 week path. Really ?

Ordered the 42 SS with BSB and a Milanese loop on April 29. Received the watch with BSB two weeks ago. Still waiting on the Milanese loop band. June 22 - 29 expected delivery date.
 
Well I can't be 100% certain as the order status hasn't updated yet. But this morning my bank account is £129 lighter.

Seems like an awfully big coincidence as that's the exact price of the Milanese. Fingers crossed it's getting ready to ship out.
 
I ordered the 42mm on April 24th, still processing with a 22-29 window for June, I really wanted it for a wedding coming up on the 21st (I'am the best man). I went down to an apple store in NYC yesterday(6/16) while I was in the area and was able to purchase one there. I was pretty annoyed that I ordered it almost 2 months ago and no movement, yet I could go down to the store and purchase it. However I cancelled my order and I am very happy I have it now and do not have to worry about not receiving it on time.

I know, it's crazy. I suppose they'll have allocated amounts of stock on a per country basis, and there's a lot less of us over here. Still crazy though.
Of course every things changing now with the stores getting stock of the watches, had I gone to the Apple Store this week instead of last I'd probably have walked out with a strap. Not that I'm complaining.
 
I canceled my order over the weekend. I have a few leather bands to hold me over till they have stock in stores.

Just curious how you like the Milanese loop band? I'm hearing some guys say it's a bit feminine and not like the pictures on the Apple site. I've been waiting almost two months and the nearest Apple Store is about 300 miles away.
 
I love it personally, it's so different than any other band I have. I don't understand how it's viewed as feminine personally

Well my Milanese arrived early this afternoon. Unfortunately the wife dragged me off into the back of beyond this morning for a few days so I won't get to see it until Saturday night :(
 
May 28th US order also went to preparing for shipment

Edit: Well that was quick, shipping from Harrisburg, PA to DE and expected to arrive by the end of Friday.

My April 10 (US) order finally updated to shipped too (past 8 PM). However will not deliver Friday, but rather Saturday. Tracking is not active yet.
 
Seems like orders going to destinations in Southern California shipped from Rialto, CA and being delivered by Ontrac. My other bands were delivered by Ontrac as well!!!
 
Mine arrived on Thursday, but the wife had dragged me away for a few days. So I'm only just home to see my new addition now. Totally worth the (short) wait, it's everything I remember from my try on. Very pleased.
