Got the ss38mm Classic band. Very small wrist classic fits great on2nd to smallest length on small band. So my options for alternative bands seemed limited. I got the apple Milanese "just to try it ". Haven't used any other band for over a month. Comfortable, fits, holds even though it's almost closed at the smallest. And I have a Spigen black tough armor protector ... They look great together ... The stainless on the Milanese meshes (pun not intended) perfectly with the black Spigen protector . Love this band.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion as these things are subjective. So here's mine.

Sorry but I completely disagree with this. I've had the Apple Milanese for about a week now and I think the quality is excellent.

None of the third party straps I've seen compare to the quality and flexibility of the Apple Milanese. Although I can't comment on the recent 1-to-1 copy that's appeared on AliExpress as I've not seen it in the flesh.

I've found the Apple strap to be extremely comfortable and as someone who needs the vast adjustability of the magnetic closure I think it's a very well thought out option.

Not everyone will agree of course and it is a lot of money to justify for some people. But I would have gladly paid more for my Milanese and I'd be every bit as happy with it if I did. Which pretty much sums up how good I think this strap is.

I agree with you 100%

I purchased the same Knock-off 2 weeks ago out of desperation. While I waited for it to arrive in the mail I kept checking back at my local Apple Store to see if they had any in stock. On the same day the Knock-Off arrived, the Apple Store FINALLY had a Milanese Loop in stock and I swooped on it.

I did a side by side comparison and there is no contest in Fit & Finish between the Real Deal and the Knock-Off. Spend your $75 on a nice leather band and a pair adaptors instead.

Nice to see a good comparison between them.
I guess for a cheap knockoff it's not too bad. But certainly doesn't quite come up to the Apple standard.
