minecraft fps?

for screen shot 2 and 3 you are looking into a wall or up which means boosts up your fps by 50~200%
for me when i look up i get 800fps with all settings maxed
For those high FPS claims, they all appear to be taken when they don't have any activity on screen: when thats the case, FPS always jumps very high.
For a better test of FPS, go into creative, build a 25*25*2 block corral, place and then make sure you are looking at 45 or so visable entities (villagers for example), and then check. That way MineCraft has to actually be doing something on screen and that puts a more realistic idea of what the FPS is capable of.
Note the latest claimant doesn't say what sort of hardware he is running: for certian it isn't any mini out there (None of the GPU options have that kind of horsepower), and doubtfull (But not impossible) that it is an iMac either. By the looks of it, I'd say a Mac Pro, or a windows machine mainly for GPU reasons.

Uh, I did.... Although I didn't have to, I have taken screenshots to PROVE that I got these FPS on a Mac mini with INTERGRATED graphics

I was referring to someone else - your post came in while I was working on mine, so didn' see it - thats my bad for not making who it was aimed at clear.
Still and all, the other poster is right, intergrated is getting better - but still no where near what dedicated GPU's can do.
Just tested this on my mid 2011 mac mini (i5 2.5ghz, 4gb ram) and I got an average of about 50 fps, this was after a lot of jumping around and loading some more chunks. An occasional spike (dip?) to 40 fps, but with just casually doing stuff I got to about 60fps.

My base 2011 mac Mini is surprisingly decent in minecraft too. I expected the worst with just integrated graphics but its fine. I needed another machine in the house as my kids love it, and the mini is being used as the minecraft server as well as HTPC
I honestly think you must be getting confused. I don't even think its possible to get over 100 Fps on ANY computer! My MacBook has the same kind of processed as your iMac (core 2 duo) and I can pull 30 Fps on a good day. Send me a screenshot of minecraft at 200+ Fps and THEN I'll believe you
I got a new Mac 6 days ago , as of December 7, 2015 , and it's getting 900 fps , it's a i7 quad core with 8 GB ram but minecraft is set to only use one GB of the ram
