I have one, I like it, for the price it cannot be beaten. It holds and protects the Mini very well. Turns out I will be getting more as well, seems that mine did not come with a wake/sleep function, so they are sending me new ones with it. I could do with or without it, but I will take it.
Did you have to email them about that? I can only assume that mine won't either since it probably has something to do with them being manufactured from rumored specs
Yeah, imo, it's not pretty but not that ugly. Plus that hole ...
I could put a sticker to cover it but I want free shipping as I don't have APM.
Got mine and am giving it a shot. First impressions are mostly positive. It seems well put together. Nice materials. The channels for the stand are pretty deep so the ipad will stay where you put it. Leaves the screen totally unobstructive which is a huge positive. My issues are the corners don't seem to hold the ipad really tight. The upper right corner is too close to the sleep/wake button so it is kind of difficult to press. Also, no auto sleep/wake function in the cover. However, I just got an email that says they are going to ship me a new one with that functionality in the near future.
Overall, it is easily worth many times the $2 price.

It does some bulk. Not anything outrageous but it is definitely thicker. I think it somewhat helps holding with one hand when you have the cover folded back, though. I can safely say that it is easily the best case I have used with regard to using it as a stand. It is very sturdy and doesn't move unless you want it to. Of course I am comparing to the numerous cases I used with my regular iPads.

Seriously, it definitely looks bulky and I feel like even if somebody gave this to me as gift or free, I will not use it. I guess, if you like it, not bothered by the defects and will be using for a long time, kind of worth for those who bought it cause like me - the case am using is kind of little off but am getting use to it. And am loving more & more the additional form factor and some protection it provides to the mini.

Got mine today as well. It feels like it could cost like $10, definitely a steal. Not to mention they are sending us a free replacement that has the smart cover feature!
I like it. Not bad for $2. Not much bulk either. Similar one at a generic kiosk in the mall on launch day was going for $45!
I'm getting a new one too as the magnets for sleep function were not installed on this one. Tey emailed me. Should have it this weekend.
At least now I have something to carry it around in until I find the perfect case.

I received mine today and I really like it. Well worth the $6 they are charging for it now. I'd have been happy if a $20 case was this quality. Not too bulky. Provides a ton of protection, and actually makes the mini easier to hold. My one company is that you have to remove the bottom have of the ipad from its clips in order to out it in the stand position.
But you can! Some of us are using it. And it's now $1.88! Fits perfectly. What I can't imagine is why people will drop $40 on a Smart Cover when for $2 you can get a smart slim case.
This is the best 2.00 I've ever spent. I can't wait until they send me my replacement!
The replacement cases are available I just got the email. You can get the same case as before but it has the auto wake/lock feature or you can get a smartshell stand case with the auto wake/lock feature.
Got that email too. Think I'm going with the alternate case. Since the one I have is the same as the replacement minus wake/lock I'll still have that plus the new one as choices to use!
That's what I'm doing. I didn't want to do another order through Amazon so I just asked them to send the alternate case as my replacement.

We also got their email offer to exchange them, and took them up on it. We chose the smart-case clones, but we have a hard time expecting more from a seller on the net. Wow!

I would send them your order number and they should see how many you ordered and I would assume they would send you that many.
