iPhone Missing my JB...

I am missing being able to tether my Ipad while at work due to lack of JB

(AT&T unlimited data)
 
I miss my jailbreak on iOS 6.1!

I miss my old iPhone 5. I had worn it in and despite some of it's scrapes and scratches I liked it.

Sigh. :(

Yeah, I wish it had been that easy. I'd have done it the first time I walked in for the lightning cable replacement. The genius I had that day looked liked my jailbreak was of no concern to her at all.

Unfortunately, I think it was a matter of damaged internals. To tell the truth it had been acting kind of weird every so often. Two days before I had it replaced I even heard what sounded like glass cracking at one point. My screen was fine, but I did notice that it seemed to have popped out even more. So, there really was nothing for it unfortunately.

I'm hoping when we switch to T-Mobile and purchase used iPhone 5s (plural, not the 5s) I can get one with iOS 6.
 
My 6+ is shipping at the end of October (Verizon).

Hopefully there's a JB released by then.

Have you SIM swapped yet with your 5?

I had a 6 and returned today to best buy because of dark spots up top and lots of dust or dead pixels or some weird anamoly that took me a bit to see, really sorta irked I have to wait for eligibility to reset which will take several days but they're in stock right now (6/64/blk) at my local store oh well. Maybe I should fiddle with a 6+ again at the store while I got the down time.

I returned to my 5 today in the interim. Refreshed to have my tweaks back.

Color Profiles will make a difference, I found myself trying activator gestures repeatedly and SwipeSelection, and I'm tired of the white iOS 7/8 thing going on it's too much.

The 5 looks like a gimp next to my 6, but returning to using it, it's a bit more comfortable (with case on and to reach things) but I still like the 4.7" size a lot :D

Need some Zephyr like tool again too. Getting tired of hitting home button already. and sleep button for that matter.

And I want my ColorFlow back!
 
Definitely need a swipe up from bottom return to homescreen.

I hope a jb comes out for the new devices. Feels like the plus will have potential for a bunch of great jb tweaks :D
 
Unfortunately I can't go back to my jb iPhone 5. I sold it today for $350. So stuck on official firmware for now:)
One thing that it's a good improvement on iOS 8 is the quick reply feature.
You can respond from anywhere without going into messages.
But nowhere near as good as bitesms:)
 
I miss cc- kill all apps, open to alarm clock, springtomize for all the little things and gridlock....and ad blocker.

Really blows my mind how some of these functions still aren't standard. For the love of God why can't I have 5 columns, especially on the 6+?!
 
Me too. So many times have I tried swiping up from the bottom right to get to the home screen. The things I most of all are my text messages being read to me, holding volume up to move to next track, Instagram slideshow on home screen, Video Pane, Auxo, and Pandora Skips.

Can't wait for 8 to be JB'd!
 
Wouldn't use an iDevice without jailbreak, specially an iPhone. I think I could live without a JB in my iPad, but iPhone no way!!!
 
I miss all my no-ad free apps and keywi five row keyboard the most. I never knew all of my favorite free apps have such obtrusive banner ads! iOS 8 is a little buggy on my ip5 but I must admit battery life has gained probably 15% since upgrading. I will probably wait on getting a 6+ until the jailbreak is right around the corner if I see it coming in advance.

so you're holding off on the 6 until then?

yes, I miss adblocker so much for the time I was using my 6. even browsing macrumors, dealing with that banner. its not something i'm used to.

Webscrollian too for that matter.
 
I miss having a real quick reply and quick compose tweak. apple's attempt is half a** I also miss springtomize. Most of all I miss being able to quick reply from the lock screen without having to turn on message preview

Yes and to be honest I'm highly considering switching to Android. It's just hard to justify the price of iPhones nowadays when you have such great phones as the Moto G and the Nexus for literally a 1/3 or 1/2 the price of the iPhone.

Not touchin 8 until its jailbroken.


In the future proly wont get any iOS devices until theyre JB (never really did anyway, only the 5s). Unless i can do 90% of the things i can on a JB device, F.Lux in particular.
