yeah i agree too. but still if its true about people saying gmail is push in 3.0 than i think Google is the better of the serviceses

That's likely true, but I'd still recommend that people use gmail -- combined with a free or non-free push service, you can get selective push of email. If you get a lot of email, it's really nice to only be notified for the important/urgent ones.

They are, they use IMAP IDLE :)

So if your device supports a fairly standard feature Gmail is pushed.

The problem is Apple don't (or more likely, won't because of MobileMe) support this on the iPhone.

Dude, it is not push. The iPhone does not support IMAP idle.

Apple is having some issues with mobile me. I am currently talking with support about all the blank emails I have been getting.

Apple is going to really have to kick mobile me in gear, their charging $100 a year, and not really giving much in the way of a "paid service".

Haven't had any issues. MobileMe is working great on my iPhone and 2 macs.

Dude, it is not push. The iPhone does not support IMAP idle.

That's my point. I don't use an iPhone so on my mobile (N95 8GB) email is pushed for free...
