I took this same picture but edited it differently in VSCOcam, not sure which one I prefer. I think it's horses for courses, as a few of my friends have preferred the colour and a few the b&w.

Any comments?

Colors for me! That sheep adds an artistic touch in my opinion!

In light of Hughmac's recent purchase I thought this would be interesting to post. It's an Android based camera from Panasonic. 1" 20mp sensor and 4k video. It appears to be a phone as well (specs say LTE) but they don't really give any info on anything but the camera features.

Looks pretty cool. I was looking at the Samsung Galaxy Camera just yesterday, Best Buy had an Open Box for pretty cheap. I was tempted to pick it up but don't know enough about it. I'm looking for a somewhat inexpensive camera with decent zoom to take hiking. The Galaxy Camera was a little big for me too.

Very nice, but will have horrendous battery life, no lens protection and costs £800 in the UK.

I'm still evaluating it but think I will stick with my £130 S4 Zoom for a while longer :)

Cheers :)

Late to the debate as usual... but I am with Hughmac. The B&W grabs it for me. Could see that in a gallery on a borderless canvas...

I'm really starting to take quite a few pics with the 6+ now, more than my X100S. VSCO do some incredible filters, very much worth the money in my opinion. Here are a few more to keep the thread going....

The first one seems a bit off, not sure if it's the filter or just the tough light. It's kind of lack all the depth is flattened (if that makes sense) I like the others a lot though. I want to upgrade my 5s!

BTW Alex I like the color one with the sheep the best. Absolutely fantastic. Almost like a painting.

Here's one from....you guessed it, walking the dog. Taken with a iPhone 5s and edited in Photos and Snapseed.

Thanks mate, I appreciate a critique on the snaps. I agree with you about that first one - I thought it was alright, but on second glance I see exactly what you mean about the weird 'flatness'. I added a monstrous vignette to draw more attention to the lady, I don't know if that would have affected it. In that case it probably should have just been composed a bit better so as to not have to do so much in post.

Thanks for the comment regarding the photo of the sheep. He's quite a popular fella now!

And keep snapping! I'm enjoying the photos from all the dog walks :)

My girl was holding my 6 Plus while I was shooting something else. She took the photo. I did a little editing in Pro Camera

Nicely done by her!

Taken on my Glass and edited with Vsco on my Note 3.

So...taken with a Google Glass? You just upped the mobile photography thread to a new level there. Pretty decent quality from the Glass.

Here's one from dinner last night. The dog was actually not with me this time. Taken on iPhone 5s and edited in Snapseed.

Not a great pic, just thought it was kind of cool. Never seen a leaf stick into the snow, then spin around and create circles this this:
