Hey everyone,

I don't have time to search the forums -- as I'm at work -- but I can't seem to connect to MobileChat at all! At least for MSN messenger. What's the deal? I've paid for this app, and it barely ever works.. Anybody else having problems still?

When did you buy it? If recently, you should have checked out the user reviews for the app (in this case, it has 2 stars for a reason). If you bought it when it was first released, then you should realize by now that it doesn't work and most likely never will work very well at all.

Try for a refund if you're unhappy with the purchase. Don't let developers get away with making money off of horrible applications.

I got one. Search Apple's App Store support area, the form to submit is there somewhere.

Oh I did get it. You can also check from iTunes reviewing your purchases. The credit will show there. It may take awhile but Apple will set you right.

It only works for AIM right? except that it's a much worse app than the free AIM app. No MSN or YIM at the moment.

This is a good article: http://www.iphonenuts.com/mobilechat-a-lesson-in-using-paying-customers-to-alpha-test

I wonder how much money these guys have made off of this program now. It is unreal how this thing still doesn't work. We've seen programs receiving numerous updates since MC was launched and supposedly they have submitted many new versions to Apple? Nothing adds up and it's just sad how they're getting rich and this app is still being sold on the App Store.

What's even funnier is that their users are still blaming APPLE for the debunkle. It's APPLE'S fault that the 3.1 update isn't out! Good Lord these people are dense.

Yes, it has. Like this app has proven, it's sometimes hit or miss, but it works.

How can you say an app that is "hit or miss" WORKS? By any reasonable standad, any app that is hit or miss like MC is not really a working app now is it? Especially if it's more miss than hit for a significant enough number of people.

Just look at the most recent reviews of MC on the app store. enough said.

It's $3....

So people shouldn't be able to expect a company to do the right thing when it's just $3? Remind me to never deal with you on ebay or in business of any kind. Where does the line begin when you justify not ripping me off? How many times has the app been downloaded? I assure you it is a bit more than just $3 or the devs wouldn't care about having to refund it, now would they?

I am sorry if I come off as harsh but the amount of money is irrelevant.

I find it ironic that Apple let this crap app onto their App store. Yet 'Pull my Finger' was rejected.

Anyway, I too would like a refund for this. Yes, its only $3 or whatever it was I paid for it here in the UK. But to be quite blunt, I could care less about my money. What I do care about is that anyone is being paid for this abysmal application. A lot of people bought this, so the Developers are getting a lot of money, and I resent that. I'd even be happy if Apple kept my money, and simply withheld it from the MobileChat devs.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5C1 Safari/525.20)

This app just doesn't work! Just so many issues. For the developers to charge customers to alpha test for them is crap! Does anyone know when beejive is coming?
