just my 2 cents...
i'm pretty happy with google at the moment. email is imap so i can read and delete emails on my iphone and mail app, and they get read and deleted off the server. the address book and ical can sync with google, tho i haven't got that set-up, but the option is there.
I use dropbox to sync files, from my home mac, to my work pc & mac.
I also use a free rss reader app on my iPhone to keep up to date.
I'm not a big email, and address and calender junky, but before I switched to google, While I was with hotmail. I used to hate manually making sure all my hotmail contacts are in my address book, and visa-versa.
