MobileMe needs a major overhaul for the ipad, make it happen Apple

MobileMe just needs to be brought fully into 2010.
Comparison of its email functionality to Google's or Yahoo's shows how far behind it is. At this point it seems almost like an oversight, or a hobby like the Apple TV, instead of a full fledged over-the-air syncing and web apps product.
The only aspect that differentiates it from its mostly free competitors is "Find My iPhone", functionality which Apple has successfully kept proprietary.
I hope that Apple's new North Carolina data facility portends a free, totally revamped MobileMe for anyone with an iPhone.
