Hello! New version of Monetal v2.00 is available in AppStore. I added budget limits and now you can track how it's going with particular categories. Just open Budget Editor and type Groceries < 1200 .
Also I updated Help page on website, please take a look.

Hi everybody! New version of Monetal v2.01 is available in AppStore.
What's new?
- use #force in note to apply recurring transactions automatically
- confirm recurring transaction by Today or original date
- Someday for transaction date
- hide password by dots
- "once a year" recurring transactions period
- change account while editing transaction
- TZS and XOF currencies

Hello! Version v2.02 is available in the AppStore.
- Alert about disabled backup. Based on analytics, 70 percent of users do not use backup, so this needs to be fixed. Now, if you haven’t made a backup for a long time or never, and there is already a lot of data, then Monetal will warn you about it. Users often write to support asking how to recover data - I drowned my phone but forgot to make a backup :rolleyes:
- Added a period of 90 days for the account balance chart
- Fixed search by transactions (for example, the search for ">4000" did not work)
- Added different possibilities to help the project to the Help screen
- Fixed a couple of bugs

Hello! Version v2.03 is available in the AppStore. For free as before!
- Fixed German translations
- Turkish language support

Currently I am working on improving translations quality which was previously made by Google Translate. Now Monetal supports 9 languages and I have found already several volunteers to verify German, Turkish and Ukrainian, but I am still looking for somebody who can review French, Spanish or Italian.
Please contact with support@monetal.app if you can help :)

Thank you!

Hello guys! Unbelievable, but I have implemented first version of Email/SMS/iMessages parsing to create transactions automatically. I am using it for a week, works like a magic.
Please write to support@monetal.app to participate in beta testing.

Hello @kruil !
I loved this app from your very first releases many years ago and recently went back to use it again on iOS.🥰 I’m really happy to see your efforts and the app’s progress, and excited to use it for my budgeting!😍

I’m currently writing a budget script and have a question for you. I couldn’t find an answer, so please bare with me, in case you provided the answer somewhere :oops:

How can I include transactions for debts and loans into my budget calculations? For example, I’ve got “Mortgage” loan and the “My best friend” debt, and transactions into them to pay them off. In the script, I write something like this:
All debts: Mortgage + My best friend
Mandatory expenses: Bills + All debts + Groceries + Dog + Transport
And in the first case, the result is 0.00, in the second - just a total of other categories without the debts, despite there are transactions added into them.
Is there any proper way to calculate this, or should I just move my debts into a usual category type?

P.S. let me know if you want me to send you screenshots.

Hello @kruil

When exporting transactions via the share button on the top right corner, the exported txt file is in a strange format. It's not csv, it's not tsv, I can't figure out which separator to use to import it to a spreadsheet.

Can you make sure it's a valid csv/tsv so it can be imported into a spreadsheet?

Here's a sample from my September export:
```
All accounts, September
28.09.2024
−20,00 Entertainment, Steam purchase
−4,76 Bills, Mobile data
−10,50 Fast Food, Coffee
−15,08 Groceries, Aldi
−77,60 Restorants, Korean
```

After the date, rows are
`Amount<Space>Category,<Space>Note`
`Amount` can include comma (,) too so it's not csv. Separator cannot be comma+space (`, `) since there's no comma between amount and category.

Hello, guys, I'm sorry for a long response. My daughter went to first grade and so I was a little busy in september)

I am not sure this can be done right now, I will try to check this next few days. I have a look on code and debt tags seems to be included to budgeting analytics, but I personally didn't tried this before. Can be a bug there. I will check.

Hi! The share button returns transactions in an easy-to-read format, which is intended to be shown to friends or sent via email. If you want to import them into tables, use the backup file. It contains tab separators. Read more about the backup file structure here.

PS. I’ve started a new project that helps you learn foreign words. I used to rely on Memrise, but this year they introduced many changes, so I decided to create my own version that addresses all the issues I had with it.
