Looks good and I'm very interested. How does it feel to wear? does it look dressy? Could you wear it on a night out or at a formal occasion?
Is it worth the £90 they are asking for it?
Does it feel weighty or cheap and light?

That's great mate - thanks.

A great option for SG owners. I'm tempted but the price is only £30 shy of an official apple band.
Presume this can be adjusted easily by being taken to a jewellers?

It's very comfortable to wear. When adjusted correctly it doesn't move around too much, doesn't make much noise, and doesn't pull my arm hair. It is rather weighty and gives the sport watch a more premium feel. I think it would be fine for formal occasions but the stainless steel would be better. I'm not returning mine nor do I have buyer's remorse but I think it's only worth about 75% or less of what the current price is.

This can be adjusted semi-easily at home. I used a 1mm flathead screwdriver to tap out the link pins without any damage to the band. I jeweler would be able to do it easily but I'm too impatient for that. A paper clip bent the right way would probably work as well since it didn't require too much force to dislodge the pins. Once seated, the pins won't go anywhere until you want them to.

CaptCaveman...how long was the shipping process on your band? I got a shipping notice on Wednesday, and now on Friday it still only shows a label has been created, like they haven't actually shipped it yet...

I received mine today. I went to the jeweler to have it resize and its still too big for me. I was told that he cannot take any more links. I have 150mm wrists.

looks okay, but i wish the links tapered to the size of the case - the transition to the pin is sort of abrupt.

Unfortunate but that's a good head up - I also have 150mm wrists and was considering the monowear link band.

It seems like monowear's sizing guide is a bit misleading (http://www.monoweardesign.com/size-chart/) - it says the metal band accommodates 138 up to 168/208 with extra links, except at the bottom of the chart it gives an "apple watch additional housing length" figure that you have to add yourself to their numbers. So the smallest link band actually only fits 138+35 = 173 mm wrists.

You're dead on with your estimate. I have 195mm wrists and could only remove 2 more links from my band. Each link is about 10mm so that would make the smallest size roughly 175mm.

Woke up to an email from Monowear...but the excitement wore off as it was yet another shipping delay into mid June. Extremely frustrating since unordered the d before the Amazon orders and others from both Amazon and Kicstarter backers have received theirs, yet mine is in purgatory. Time to explore and find a different black link band and adapters so I can cancel my order. I gotta stop falling for Kickstarter backed products, the Lockitron should have taught me that lesson...

I'll take more pictures when I get more time. I had the adapter and just attached it.

Been wearing my Monoware black link band for the past 3 weeks and have noticed the hinge where the strap connect to the clasp is starting to bend!

Have also noticed bending by the last link before the link where the pin to the adaptor is. Not good for the price of these things.

I have bent it back in place, but not 100% convinced on the security of this. I haven't been rough with it at all so think its just bending from my wrist moving, and its in no way tight on my wrist either.

I got my Metal Mesh band in finally after 3 months of waiting and TOTALLY disappointing. Feels very cheap and poorly made. There were ZERO instructions for how to adjust the band for sizing and when I asked for instructions via their Facebook page this was their response - "Monowear Design James, it's quickest to take to a local Walmart/Target or mall kiosk, they can probably resize it for free. *smile emoticon*" SERIOUSLY! I purchase a band for almost $100.00 and when it finally does get here I have to take it somewhere else to get it sized before I can wear it? HORRIBLE experience and not feeling it at all. This will be returned. During my 3 month wait I purchased other bands for 1/4 of the price and they work just fine and are surprisingly better quality. Plus I now just use my own watch bands with 3rd party pin spring adapter. 3 of my own bands with the spring pin adapter attached, much better option for those with many watches like myself.

It is not right that the Kickstarter backers haven't gotten theirs before Amazon purchasers. At least the $75 Kickstarter price is more appropriate for this band. I did not back the Kickstarter campaign because I have never received a Kickstarter award less than 2 months after the promised delivery date and I knew third party bands would flood the market within a month of the AW launch. Little did I know I would get the Monowear band from Amazon in that timeframe. When I ordered it I assumed they had fulfilled all of the Kickstarter backers orders. I actually see it as a classy move that Monowear has removed the Amazon sales for now and are hopefully focusing on getting Kickstarter backers orders prioritized.

Thanks for the photos. For me personally I think the band width looks too small. It makes the watch base look larger and that kind of reminds me of those huge faces on many of the android smart watches that I think look disproportionally huge and ugly. I guess the coloring isn't as big of an issue for me since the watch face is black. Trying to match stuff up has really been a trial and error thing. I do appreciate the photos.

Again, thanks for the photos. I have to agree with the metal mesh band not being as nice. Don't know if it's your photo angle or not but the pattern of the mesh itself kind of bugs me. The band/watch connector piece is rather prominent and it seems to have a larger gap between case and band than others I've seen. One of the things I have liked about some of the mesh bands out there (bought a third party one myself) is the sleek thin look to it, metal without the look of the bulky beads/links. Sorry after such a long wait you're going to return it. I have a few bands I've returned although hate shopping like that.

Ok so a little update with this.

I have been wearing the Monoware Link bracelet as my primary band since it arrived (apart from when in the gym, switch back to sports strap)

Last week I noticed the strap is starting to bend at certain points, where the strap meets the clasp and where the strap meets the t shaped section just before the adaptor.

Sent and e-mail to Monoware who suggested I "Bend it back!" and "They will look into thicker metals for future!"

I did as suggested, but the bending has gotten worse, to the point where Im not sure I trust the band at all.

To make things worse, I was over a friends house, and the watch just fell off my wrist. The pin that connects the strap to the clasp had popped out and my watch fell. Luckily I was able to recover the watch, strap and the pin and it went back on my wrist, and even luckier my friend was getting a new carpet fitted to his stairs and had dust sheets on the wooden floor so the watch sustained no damage.

Its safe to say I'm back wearing my sports strap permanently until I find a better alternative.

Below are pictures of the bend points!

Overall I think this is clearly a cheap band, with a logo branded to it. Poor show Monoware... Poor show!
