iMac 19,1, Monterey 12.3.1, NO Apple Music subscription.

If you open Apple Music APP to the Songs window, you will see columns of various data: Title, Track#, Artist, etc. For most columns ,clicking the arrow at top reverses alphabetically the assigned data in the column.

For me, this is true, EXCEPT for Equalizer column. If I click on the arrow at top of the column, I get only one equalizer setting for all tracks. If I click on the arrow at top again, I get a complete list of all tracks and their unique assigned equalizer setting I have assigned each track.

What is wrong with this col? Anybody see this? Why doesn't a click toggle in reverse the alphabetical equalizer list.

I called Apple Tech support. In broken English a female tech assured me this is "normal" behavior.

In the Equalizer column I see one dropdown for each song listed. The list sorts with this column, as with others. Unfortunately I do have the subscription, so I don't know if that makes a difference here (these are all songs I've previously purchased).

Ok, in Apple Music does the equalizer column reverse alphabetically when you click the arrow at the top of the equalizer column?
