iPhone rescues by power screwdriver

I sure wish there was a simple tether on the iPhone like so many digital cameras. Last night I was outside on one of my favorite bar's deck/patio. I was a fun evening until I dropped my iPhone onto the deck and it slipped effortlessly between the boards and onto the ground beneath. The deck is only about a foot off the ground, but there was no way to get to it without unscrewing one of the boards--which was not going to possible on a busy Friday night. Sad face.

I had to return this afternoon with a power screwdriver and completely remove all the screws in a 12-foot board to get to it. Alas! I retrieved it and I am typing this entry on I'd right now. Fortunately, it didn't rain last night!
