I'm not sure about the "most advanced" title, but I plan on buying a black one at the end of the month.

Considering the way the silicon is set up in that phone, I'd have to agree with him. Up to this point, besides the Droids with the same system, there has never been a phone with this type of sophistication at the silicon level. It really is quite advanced. The level of engineering that went into the phone is what I found to be most impressive. Instead of throwing all tasks at a behemoth soc, you take a totally different approach and have multiple chips that handle specially assigned tasks. It allows for high level performance with chips that will consume less power. It really is a brilliant concept.

just wish the 32 gb was on carriers other than att. I can do with 16gb. Looking more into this phone makes it seem awesome!

although it has a great design and all but it's software is nothing in front of the touchwiz (my opinion), i love touchwiz and i'm willing to carry a plastic phone if it offers the tonnes of touchwiz features and the best internals.

I like the concept, particularly the ability to customize the look of the product at point of sale and the fact that it is made here is nice too.

I've heard the camera is nothing to write home about, but there is no perfect phone.

I plan to buy one ( i have too many phones but oh well, we all have hobbies)

Anyone seen the Configurator as being live online? i could not find it at either AT&T's or Moto's site. It would be cool to play around with the colors etc..

I've been giving it a lot of thought and looking at my usage patterns. Not sure I can live with 16GB and no SD card slot. I take a lot of pictures and video. And who knows how long until 32GB is available on Verizon. Even then, is prefer a 64GB model. May have to give the S4 another consideration.

a 10MP/ dual core phone w 720 screen Rez is not the most advanced phone on the planet in 2013. End of story!

Sincerly,

Galaxy S4
HTC One
Sony Xperia Z

In defense of a phone I do not own, just because it's a dual core does not necessarily make it less powerful than the S4 or One. The X's benchmarks hold up quite nicely against it's quad-core and "octacore" competition.

You may want to become a bit more knowledgeable before speaking on a topic. Bare minimum, read the article, then you'd understand how inaccurate your statement was.

It's nothing more than an engineer trying to spin their phone. It lacks in several areas and is not up to par when it comes to innovation, especially when compared to the current flagship devices. Fact, end of story.

Care to back that up with some facts, instead of generalized information? ..or are you just going to default back to the whole "well this one has this snapdragon, and that one has that snapdragon" argument?

What in Touchwiz is so much better in your opinion?

IMO, the problem people have with touchwiz is the launcher. Otherwise, all it does is add features, for many needs. You don't have to use the "gimmicky" ones if you don't want to. The no touch features come in handy when you don't want to touch your phone, but still need to interact with it. Much rather have them available than not. The camera software is faster and higher quality over the Google version. The browser is better. Their keyboard is better. Their clipboard is the best feature people don't know about. Just for a few things that would make me stay with touchwiz after a launcher change.

I wonder if 16gb will be enough for me. Wish the 32gb was on all the carriers.

Don't have a lot on my 64gb 4s ATM

I don't know about that one :)
