Do you live near a retail location that sells them? if so, there's always a return if you're not happy.
The only thing I'm not used to on this mouse, is that the scroll-wheel doesn't tilt right or left. It's no big deal though, since I use the glass-trackpad for this task.
There probably is a place nearby, but Amazon.com's conditioned a laziness wherein I really can't bother with an actual store any more.
Likewise the absence of the tilt is no issue for me. I'll just be using it for very occasional gaming. Based on the little time I've spent trying out the trackpad, I'm already quite certain I won't prefer an external mouse over it for general application use. I imagine it'll be analogous to my love for the Magic Mouse in that sense.
