MS office autoupdate not working.

Same issue. Only redownloading updates.

Restart computer, do not open any other app, just launch any Office app and go to Help > Check For Updates and see if the install now goes through.

Repeating - Do not open any other app - especially Safari. There seems to be some issue with MS updates while Safari is open.

Right silly me, expecting a program to WORK as designed. If there’s an auto update program, it should AUTO update.

However, at least for me, I cannot have links to the latest releases and must go the auto update app route, because I am on the beta train. 🙃

So check this install ccleaner go to startup disable and enable auto update and it will work lol idk why
