Good for the TS but I always found it odd one can obtain a Masters degree in Computer Science without a Bachelors in any CS related field. To me it would be like getting your Masters in Music theory with a Computer Science undergrad.

It's too late when you're dead. But no ... follow your passion and good luck. :)

I am in a similar position only I do not care about the degree. I am 38 , I used to work as a lawyer I am now slowly changing career into game developer/artist. My was a ship captain became a lawyer , my brother an economist and he became an architect. Its must be some kind of family curse :D

It is not late at all. I just self-educate iOS development in my free time. I start from objective-c then learn Swift. I am going to release my first app soon. It is never be late, where there is a will, there is a way.

Congratulations! Hatfield, where Hertfordshire University is based, is quite near me, but I don't think I've ever met anyone who completed a good online degree from any university.

What was it like doing the online degree? How did you cope with the isolation from other students / lecturers and having to do everything yourself? Did you have to fly to the UK every few months for face-2-face / groupwork time?

I can't comment on the online degree, but I know a few grads from Hatfield. It's a good university. One of my friends is a CTO of a very big healthcare firm and received 1st class honours from Hatfield.
