my dear, the center of your image is the vid itself. besides, why did you say:

To reinforce that I wasn't talking about the content of the video, but how the video was presented on the website.

Admit it, you just started flaming away half-cocked

i provided a direct link to the vid in reply to Billy Boo Bob, showing that a link to the vid is possible.

also, providing a link 23 mins after the thread has started doesn't lead to a fair discussion.

It wasn't needed for the context of the discussion, but since some were concentrating on the content of the video and not what the website was portraying, I updated the post.

Exactly... They're the type of drive-by that will lead a story strong and bold with "Child kill by SUV"... Then buried near the end of the story it will say that the driver was cleared of all charges because the kid ran right out in front of him, and witnesses agreed... But they want to make sure you understand right at the start that it's that damn SUVs fault.

That is what PMSNBC is all about.

the tittle of the vid being discussed is misleading, a word that can also be used to describe this thread.

if cheney can claim that he's not part of the executive branch, then i suppose anyone can play some word-twisting games nowadays.

for the context of the discussion, your personal attack on anyone is not appreciated. in addition, it is important to illustrate your thoughts clearly and provide your sources in the first place to allow a fair discussion.

but since some were concentrating on the content of the video and not what the website was portraying, I updated the post.

in any case, the presentation in this thread is misleading. and the reason that you "updated" your original post is rather debatable.

That's true, if Bill Clinton can profess to not know the definition of "is", then Dick Cheney can claim not to be part of the Executive Branch.

A personal attack? Oh, do be serious, we're not children here. Just where is this supposed personal attack to which you refer?

Your not debating my reason for updating to include the link, you are accusing me of telling a lie. You are the one who hijacked this thread talking about the video. The thread title clearly says website. The screen capture shows more than just the video that you have focused on.

You jumped to a conclusion, made snide and condescending remarks, and when you realized that I was not talking about the video you became argumentative. Go play Forum Nazi in some other thread, as I will no longer converse with you.

This morning on the Today show (NBC) they had a segment on how Microsoft is working on their next AMAZING technology. They showed some guy having trouble using a regular smartphone keyboard and complaining about it. They did a blurb about the amazing big ass microsoft table. THen they had a snippet with a Microsoft "Audio Geek" (as read a sign on his door.) Audio geek was discussing sound issues... and on his desk there sat a 12" Powerbook...

You mean this one where Merith of the today show had some issues using the iPhone? http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/29/meredith-vieira-stumped-by-complicated-iphone/

I'm sure we will hear about issues and concerns soon enough, say about 7:45pm EST us mere mortals start using the homage to the communication era.

I did not mention one word about the video. The thread title mentioned "website" not "video".
If your focus is on the website and not the video, then I have to ask you, do you ever read anything, or just look at the title? You know you can't judge a book by its cover(cliche I know, but true). You're like a classic used car salesman. You tell us the price, and then neglect to mention that the engine has a habit of falling out. What a pointless, useless thread.

The video you are referring to has a description that makes it appear that no one cares about the iPhone and then further down the list is a video about the Achille's Hill of the iPhone.

On the contrary, it says that there are many of us who might want the iPhone, but that there are a few who simply want the good old fashioned stuff. And, it's Achilles Heel. A hill is a geographic phenomenon, whereas a heel is a body part. Achilles' mother dipped him in a lake, holding him by his heel, which is why his only vulnerability was his heel.

You're just assuming that I have not seen the video, and assuming what I expect, when in fact I was not even talking about the content of the video.

If you have seen the video, then this thread is more pointless than I thought.
