Has anyone removed old devices from iCloud? Or has anyone tried changing their Apple ID password? I only mention the password because when I wipe and install my computer or phone, text message forwarding has a few old computer names and the only way to get rid of them is to change the Apple ID password.

Not sure fixing anything is a priority for Apple nowadays.
Considering they are fixing various things here and there in different releases, seems like at least some of that is certainly still happening.

Just installed iOS 12.1.1 and Screentime is even worse then ever.

Each device is listed twice and I still have a rogue “iPhone” that does not appear in my iCloud account.

On my iPad it shows:
Paul’s iPad
Paul’s iPad
Paul’s iPhone
iPhone

On my iPhone it shows:
Paul’s iPhone
Paul’s iPhone
Paul’s iPad
iPhone

I only have 2 devices for God’s sake Apple!

I give in.

Ditto. Nothing fixed.

It‘s not really a duplicate device showing but old ones. I see the old iPhone X in there next to my current XS. It makes sense to me considering we still have screentime data from our old devices (if used on there), just like the old entries for phones or watches you had that collected health data for you (in the health app).

So in 5 years time you still want to see that data considering those old phones have probably been sold on 3 more times?

You are happy that there is no ability to remove these old devices?

Who cares if you spent 30 hours on Netflix in 2012!

I can still see devices which doesn’t have screen time enabled or devices I don’t even have anymore. Not even on my Apple ID.

But the screen time data is only stored for seven days isn’t it? In that case they should drop off after that length of time.

What are you talking about? Stop reading things I never said?

They probably store all of it or I wouldn‘t see my X in the list.

12.1.1 didn't fix this at all. I still see my old iPhone listed under All Devices, an iPhone that I no longer use or is linked to me.

I wonder if this could be caused because the duplicated device is in more than 1 iCloud account?

My iPhone is in my iCloud account and it’s also in a second account used to share calendars etc with my business partner.

I don’t have that setup and I have the issue still.

Still not fixed with iOS 12.1.4...for me.

Are you guys still having this issue? I just submitted a bug report to Apple. I would like to use the Screen Time feature but I have it turned off until this bug is ironed out.

Still got it.
