Granted. In iOS 9, too many buttons crowded in one place, "cluttered". Now in iOS 10, buttons are scattered at multiple pages, "cluttered". Those controls are always cluttered, being one way or the other.

If you rarely ever use other toggles and most of the time use it for music. Then why are you complaining? Drop it on the music card and you will always get the music card. I mean seriously. You're making a stink over something by your own admission you will rarely have to deal with.

Because every time I STOP playing audio it defaults back to the pane 1 CC. And again I'll say it's not just music. There's lots of other audio around you know. Video, podcasts, books etc. Just cos someone has a different opinion than yours doesn't mean it's wrong. When I'm playing audio I often toggle between different speakers - Bluetooth,  TV or whatever so having the pane defaulting to the audio controls when playing audio would just be simpler. I doubt anyone is likely to want to use the flashlight, turn off wifi or Bluetooth, so why the big deal about the possibility of it defaulting to audio controls?

Apparently now we're not allowed to suggest something isn't right for us and should just accept that Apple, and some other MR members are always right and we should just shut the hell up. Sort of defeats the point of people trying betas really if we're not supposed to find fault and suggest improvements. Terribly sorry for having an opinion on the internet that's different from yours. How dare we.

I have yet to see it default back to card 1 of the CC after stopping music. It remembers what card you left it on. I've had it bring up on the music card for entire days because I never closed it from the toggle card 1. As far as I know only a reboot will default it back to card 1.

So it's really not a case of telling people to be quiet and opinions don't matter. It's a case of for your exact use case, it shouldn't affect you at all. And if you're not experiencing it remembering to stay on whatever card you closed it on then you have a bug or a reboot is in order. My experience of it remembering which card has been reliable since hour one of the developer beta 1 on both my iPhone and iPad Pro.

The iOS 10 control centre is crap. Space wastage, inconvenient and annoying, especially on iPads, where it could have been on one screen.
