Facts? Your personal anecdotes aren’t facts.
Here you can have a new phone today. Push the power button swipe the bar that comes up wait a bit push the power button. see new phone. there is another method that works good too...my phone (iPhone X) is starting to hang up (iMessage) and stutter a bit. #cantinnovateanymoremyass
My personal observation of what my device is or is not doing is fact if I am not lying, which I am not.
You must be one of the believers that Apple products are perfect! Thanks for the laugh!
Actually, last year's controversy just pretty much confirmed the planned obsolence theory. This theory wouldn't exist in the first place if it weren't so obvious.I suppose anything's possible but I find it highly unlikely considering the controversy it caused last year and the fact that iOS 12 is focused on performance improvements in their current devices, old and new alike.
LOL! A phone without a headphone jack isn’t perfect for that alone.
Perhaps I misunderstood, but I thought that you were suggesting that one person’s experience proves planned obsolescence as fact.
Nope. Just suspect that it seems to happen to me in a minor way every year.

Never have I said I didn't believe in it. What I was saying was I find it highly unlikely they would do it again after so recently getting publicly shamed for it.Actually, last year's controversy just pretty much confirmed the planned obsolence theory. You can also tell by looking at this forum. Most of these questions were answered a year ago on the last release but we will watch is all get re-hashed again! This is only the beginning.
You're delusional. This only happens with Android....my phone (iPhone X) is starting to hang up (iMessage) and stutter a bit. #cantinnovateanymoremyass
I swear my camera has been lagging lately....my phone (iPhone X) is starting to hang up (iMessage) and stutter a bit. #cantinnovateanymoremyass
That did happen to me last year. After returning my IPhone X, I decided I would keep my 7 Plus for a few more months. But it started acting up, overheating sometimes, hanging, being generally alarming as the warranty period was coming to an end. So I traded it in while it still had value and got an white/silver 8 Plus. A few months later Product Red 8 Plus was released and I decided to go for that one, too, and got Apple Care Plus on it for the long haul.Congratulations! That’s great.

Seems to happen every year. Maybe it is just my set up. They are not major issues at all. I am simply saying for me the phone works flawlessly and about this time there are weird minor issues. Nothing that cannot be fixed with a simple restart. It was just an observation.
Except Apple supports their products YEARS
Longer then any other phone manufacturer, so nope. Not planned obsolescence
