Apologies if this is the wrong section as I can’t see an iPadOS section.

What are some must have iPad Pro iPadOS apps or your most used apps? Photo editing, drawing, music etc... anything but games.

Agree with previous poster about Procreate and Lumafusion. Absolutely fantastic software.

As for Music, you need to be more specific.
The sheer amount of "must have" music making apps is staggering, so it would help to know what you are trying to achieve. If your needs are relatively basics, you will not need anything more than Garageband.

Affinity suite, procreate, luma, lightroom, concepts, animation desk.
Strongbox, file browser biz, jump desktop, Cryptomator.

Adobe capture is also extremely useful, but it’s better as a phone app to use along with your iPad art apps.

I use Bitwarden for backup purposes at the moment. Next year, I may stop my 1Password subscription. If I do, I have Bitwarden ready to go.
Ah cool. I doubt you’ll go wrong if you change. Bitwarden is great. I prefer strongbox myself as I have always preferred keepass.

I wasn’t familiar with Strongbox. Thanks for the mention. I installed MacOS and iOS versions and decided to go with the lifetime plan ($19.00 and $25.00 respectively). I think that may work better for me than Bitwarden. I like that it also has Apple Watch unlocking with the Mac. it is a shame Apple hasn’t allowed Apple Watch unlock with iOS as another option.

- Lumafusion - video editing
- Procreate - drawing
- FileBrowser - file management
- Snapseed - quick photo editing
- Affinity Photo - heavy photo editing
- Shiftscreen - extended monitor
- Usage - system monitoring
- Emulsio - video footage stabilizer
- Wavepad - audio editing
- Vectornator - vector design
- Evermusic - offline local music player
- Word, PowerPoint, Excel - sucks but still better than iWork or G-Suite

I want to chime in on PDF Expert as an excellent PDF reader that solved a particular problem for me. Some of the books I read are dual languages, so I want dual page display. With some PDF readers, the foreign language on the left and the English on the right do NOT correspond to each other. I wind up inserting a blank page somewhere in the PDF book to make the left and right correspond. I did this with Apple's default PDF viewer, Preview, on my MBA, but to my dismay, the edited PDF doc cannot be saved! So I have to insert a blank page again next time I read the same PDF book!

Now with PDF Expert--both the iOS and the MacOS versions, this problem is solved via the two options of "Two Pages" and "Two Pages But First Single" under the "View" tab. You just toggle between the two; the foreign language on the left and the English on the right will correspond.

Hope this will help someone.

My 2 most used apps and love are:
Reeder 5 - RSS (been using Reeder in their various versions for years)
JumpDesktop - Remote into various computers for work and at home

Misc apps I use a lot or are important for me, but not necessarily "love":
Sonicwall VPN - for work
Spark email - for personal email
Calendars 5
Microsoft Outlook - for work email
1Blocker
Terminus - remote ssh into computer (using free mode)

That forum does does include iPadOS for software related discussion. But it is confusing as they titled it iOS Apps, assuming that included iPadOS.
