I want to chime in on PDF Expert as an excellent PDF reader that solved a particular problem for me. Some of the books I read are dual languages, so I want dual page display. With some PDF readers, the foreign language on the left and the English on the right do NOT correspond to each other. I wind up inserting a blank page somewhere in the PDF book to make the left and right correspond. I did this with Apple's default PDF viewer, Preview, on my MBA, but to my dismay, the edited PDF doc cannot be saved! So I have to insert a blank page again next time I read the same PDF book!

Now with PDF Expert--both the iOS and the MacOS versions, this problem is solved via the two options of "Two Pages" and "Two Pages But First Single" under the "View" tab. You just toggle between the two; the foreign language on the left and the English on the right will correspond.

Hope this will help someone.
I agree. PDF Expert is great. I am using it for years now. It was one of the first PDF apps which supported continuous vertical scroll on the iPad, a big plus for me.

Apologies if this is the wrong section as I can’t see an iPadOS section.

What are some must have iPad Pro iPadOS apps or your most used apps? Photo editing, drawing, music etc... anything but games.
What do you mean by music. Creating music? Playing music (connected to a midi instrument)?
For me Korg apps are the best, much better than Garageband. Gadget for music creation and Module for music playing (for playing piano for instance, Module has by far the best libraries available for iPad as in-app purchase, thanks to Korg collaboration with some big names that have been among the best on Mac and PC, while most other piano apps on ipad are inferior, as they were specifically made for iPad and iPhone).

This is going to return very different results as there are thousands of apps.

What do you specifically want to accomplish that the computer should help you with? Maybe start there.

Hello, here's my list - I am a yacht designer but I use my iPad Pro for everything, love it! It is the first gen model which I bought brand new, it is still going strong! Feels smoother than my 2017 15" almost maxed out Macbook Pro. Many apps that I mention will most probably be already listed by previous posts, but well, this is my list:

- Procreate ( For artists, designers or hobbyist who enjoys drawing, this is a must have for the price, and also a very straightforward, powerful drawing app )
- Clip Studio Paint ( Even tho it has subcribe payment method which I hate, it is still relatively cheap and it is a very powerful alternative to Procreate, I could say that it is the most powerful. It has a more desktop like interface which can be customized to look more like the other tablet drawing apps, and it is a very complete software. )
- Sketchbook Pro ( it is free, and lovely for fast sketching )
- Adobe Fresco ( free as well, has some nice water colour brushes, I dont really know how to use them well, as I don't really use water colour on traditional sketches apart than markers, but it is fun to play with it. and for people who are used to that traditional tool, according to the reviews I read, they will love it. )
- Affinity Photo ( Worth the price, Photoshop power for your iPad Pro )
- Affinity Designer ( Illustrator alternative for iPad Pro, Vector drawing
- Vectornator ( a free, vector drawing app alternative, it is very well made as well )
- Pages is already included on iPad, I find that it is one of the best publishing softwares for iPadOS, still hoping for something more professional to arrive such as Affinity Publisher, Adobe Indesign, in the meantime, if you have any advices, much appreciated)
- Good Notes for note taking ( It is like the procreate of note taking )
- Luma Fusion ( fantastic Video Editting software )
- Opera Touch ( I enjoy using this browser and it syncs very well with my pc, android phone and mac and you can use it to send files between devices, such as airdrop, with the myflow function )
- Darkroom ( a nice photo editting software for the colours..etc )
- Spark Email ( love the interface and how easy to synch thru devices, available on Mac, IOS/iPadOS, Android, and soon it will be released on Windows as well )
- iFont ( This makes it easier to install system wide font to your iPad, this way you can use the fonts that you downloaded from internet, on your design, drawing, manga, publishing and video apps. )
- And media consuption apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube and Youtube music :)

When I did this list, I realized, how many "useless" apps I have on my iPad Pro which I never use lol.

A lot of people mentioning PDF Expert here. But I actually think Documents (by Readdle, same developer) is a better choice. It has all the same PDF viewing, annotating, and editing features (indeed, the same exact UI) but does a much better job of also viewing other file types such as word, excel, epub, and pretty much any other file type you can throw at it.

I love Spark for email. Color coded emails, smart inbox and other good stuff. Much better than Apple’s email client.

It’s what Apple should have done with their App to begin with. File Browser is worth the small price in the App Store, in my opinion.
I did some quick research last night about File Browser. Of its various features, its support for multiple file types stood out. But I don't have that many types of files. I only have PDF and ePub, and they have their own apps to handle. In my case, is there really any advantage to have it?

Yes! Reminds me of Ewan McGregor’s movie, “The Island”. Very cool!

oh yes it was a cool movie!

I actually deleted it unfortunately because no matter how I tried, it was not showing my local folders on the iPad Pro like the files apps, which was for me a must have feature, I did not find any online documentation about it, so I had to delete it.

Sorry for the double post, I just found out how to make multi reply post.

"I don't want to go to the Island, I don't want to goooo!"
^ sad as he unfortunately did, hopefully the one in the heaven's is better than the one in the movie.

And to our local architect ... mind the gap of having lots n lots of sex with beautiful women there are priviso's with that ;)

Still I think that Cadillac prototype using their V-12 engine prototype should've been built; the styling did show up in a convertible though.

For me Things! is becoming something I'm liking not sure how I stayed organized without it.
Looking to see for an app to learn how to draw / colour from a complete novice and stick-man-killer like my penmanship.

Also does anyone know of an app that can help with designing all sorts of clothes?

There are so many Cadillac concepts I wish that they produced, and my number 1 in the list is the Cadillac Ciel, the name is very similar to the one that you like, which is Cadillac Cien. :)

If you mean about sketching, try Pret-a-Template , they have MANY templates for any type of clothing from dresses to shoes and bags. :)

My most useful App is Pocket Drive. I first tried the free version, but later bought it. Worth every penny. It is similar to Apples Files app, but doesn’t corrupt anything. You can create nested folders (I have some with many levels) to keep like topics together. I also store photos, spreadsheets, videos, and more, as it can store any file type, especially handy for .pdf’s. You can change folder names, and order the folders by name or date. Files are also compressed, saving space.
