Must Haves after jailbreaking

I have thought about getting backgrounder, but I figured it would demolish my battery life. I'm assuming you have it installed, if so, have you noticed a significant change in battery life?

If I would have thought of it, I would have included that in my must-have list, as well.

It is selectible. In other words, it doesn't just make every program run in the background. In an active program, you hold the Home button down for a few seconds, and you will get the message that it has been activated for running in the background.

That is about it, everything else is eh for me. I expected there to be more but even so a top notch video recorder and being able to run apps in the background is worth it for me.

I've seen a lot of mention of backgrounder. Can you maybe give me some instances where this would be useful? I can't seem to think of anything I would need running except an IM program but I don't really use them all that much.

Is there something I'm missing?

i can see how it might be useful with apps like pandora as well

I use AOL Radio alot, it comes in handy when I am using that app to be able to still use the phone.

Right now I only have Cydia, Installous, iBlacklist and Cycorder.

Yes...go to www.myxer.com it is a great free site that you can upload any song and turn it into a ringtone for your iphone - I give it two thumbs up

Thanks Jack!! Oh btw anyone know how can I uninstall iBlacklist? Because when you long tap an icon they start to shake and you can remove some apps, but for some reason cycorder and iblacklist dont :X how can I remove them?

You have uninstall those through the Manage tab in Cydia - that's the way you uninstall any app you installed via Cydia.
