For the gum wrapper thing - just peel the wax paper off the thin aluminum exterior and it sticks to almost anything. Kids at my highschool used to do this, comes off with out any residue. ;)
 
nice idea. Must be one of it kind in the world. Me, I still like the way my iPhone looks.
 
i hope you can brush the aluminium back to make it look like new..or almost..
but what's with the front again?it looked interesting at first but if it's really that shiny can you actually use it?like..watch a movie?surf on the web?

nope i guess it might a little more difficult to see than a clear screen protector, but not that much when its turned on.
its like the lg shine, not that tough to see.

haha anyway i like it:)
i did it on an invisible shield so if i ever decide that i hate it i can peel it off

I love this. You're 15, you have an iphone, and you made it completely your own. It's totally unpretentious, and absolutely perfect. If there were more people like you, who weren't afraid of a little DIY, this world would be a far more interesting place.

I'm really enjoying the shock and horror in some of these responses. What fragile little worlds some of us live in. It's a freaking telephone, not some monument whose sanctity we must preserve or some such nonsense.

true i know what you mean but i will not be spray painting my car in various colors anytime soon lol
 
bring it to a genius bar and get them to swap it, maybe they'll feel SO horrible you have such an ugly phone they will

side note: that cannot be good for the phone..
 
Way cool! It's like camouflage! You can use it with impunity on the bus and the meth-heads will go after the guy cradling his virgin iPhone on the velvet pillow to protect it from scratches. :D I liked your original mod, too.

We need to start a contest for the most shabby chic case mod.
