I'll say that my 23" LG LED is amazing. It's designed very well - attractive and extremely functional. I calibrated the screen, and it is an amazing compliment to my 11.6 Air.

I've owned Samsungs in the past, with mixed results. Now every standalone LCD in my house is an LG (two TV's and this monitor) and I am pleased with all of them.

Go with what your needs and budget allow, but the LG does provide a lot of bang for the buck.
