The results from Cinebench will be different if you use MacOS.
136 fps and 920 cb for what I saw on a Youtube video.:)
The only drawback is the fan noise.:(
Yeah that's a pretty small change. 880cb is what I get pretty consistently, so this cpu is only about 5% faster despite being almost two years later.

The bigger let down is that gpu, I get 127 in Windows and the new one is 145 or 136. That's a measly 8-16% increase despite them making a big deal about the gpu being so much better. Da**** apple, we waited since 2015 for this? The only one that actually looks better is the imac pro and that sucker is double the price easily.

I have new 27 inch iMac (basic model) 3.4G 8GB RAM 256G SSD with Radeon 570.

My 256G SSD only got 1400 MB/s write and 2100 MB/s read

Is it normal ?

Looks a quite behind the 512G SSD

Yep. Not *that* much difference between the current 3 processors offered.

GPUs have moved on some, which is good, but to me the real glory day of iMac GPU awesomeness was the GTX 680MX. That thing was ahead of its time. Sure GPUs are faster now (duh) but man that thing was awesome when it came out.

Thanks man! That's a bit of bummer graphics wise, my 2 year old imac gets 107fps in osx and 127 when in windows. This new graphics card is less than a 16% increase, I was under the impression this was a much better gpu, something like a 30-50% increase considering how far behind these desktops are lagging in that department. :(

Perhaps, I must admit I am not that much of a gamer.

Apparently though, these new iMacs are up to 80% faster than the previous generation in image processing. :)

I'd call that a decent improvement.
