My (Apple) Wall Lamp

that is beautiful! I have to get two-one apple will be orange, one apple will be blue!
I also have another idea. You said it was a g3 cover? I am assuming you mean the clear painted ones. Use rubbing alcohol to rub the paint off! You let it sit with the alcohol inside the case for a while, then rub it with a soft cloth. Be sure to take the Apple logo out, though. Just cover it with duct tape, then put it back in when done. Then you mask all of the outside off with tape, and spray paint it whatever color you want. Heck, you can even leave it clear! It'll take a while to get all of the paint off, so be patient, and leave the bezel on a soft surface, unless you want scratches on the outside. I can imagine it now-a black case lamp with a blue apple, and a white case with an orange apple, side-by-side. And the dream is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I must try it!
edit:the paint is on the inside, in case you don't know that. Just wanted to make sure, so I don't get blamed if you rub the outside for twenty hours and the paint just won't come off!

You should find some nylon nuts for the all white effect.
