This isn't mine, just a general picture off the Net- thought it'd fit well here :D

"Coke.....is a hell of a drug."

They wanted them preserved for posterity.

Nice. My desk is quite messy as well. I'd take a photo, but I can't find my camera, which is in one of my drawers (and they're packed).

That's why I'm a big fan of HUGE desks. I can spread things out a bit more. ;)

I like HUGE desks too - easier to launch into full blown amoeba mode!;)

The people who sat to my left and right hated me. The table on my right was put there to rein in my expansion. The filing cabinet on my left is supposed to be the divider between me and the person on my left.

Stole it from The Flask, a pub in North London. Very nice pint glass. Very hefty.

I am going to use wiz bang CSI techno stuff to scan your fingerprint off of that photo of the glass and forward to The Flask and have them track you down to return it.

Just kidding. I have several 'acquired' beer glasses from pubs here in Tokyo - all with Japanese on them. They are soooo cool. Not as hefty as your 'acquisition' but cool nonetheless :D

I was given a box of 12 from a friend who runs a pub. Some ***** chav ran straight into me as I walked out the pub knocking the box right out of my hands.

Haha! Oh, man, this photo reminds me so much of college. I think we had very similar roomies! Mine never wanted to take out the trash, so he just used the underside of his desk. He also played World of Warcraft a lot. Does yours do the same?

Haha, he doesn't actually play WoW, but he sure played a lot of other games. Sounds very similar. :)

You drink a lot. We need to meet.

Well, here's mine. Frankly it's quite messy for me but it means I'm actually trying to work today.
The table on the side is new, as in I don't have it there often but I was cataloging DVDs and needed to VPN in to run some reports and found it to be quite useful, albeit ugly.
I also have some random pills, nail clippers, and a calculator on my desk by the water. I know, I'm pretty ****ing interesting!

Way TOO neat, but cozy. I'd go bonkers.

Yeah, you call that a mess? ;)

I'm pretty sure you mean you "Found it at the Flask...." ?;)

Yes, I "accidentally" threw the empty pint glass into the shrub behind my table, and when I left the pub, I walked over to the other side of the shrub and "accidentally" stuck my hand into the shrub and picked up the glass.....by accident. ;)

I was given a box of 12 from a friend who runs a pub. Some ***** chav ran straight into me as I walked out the pub knocking the box right out of my hands.

Bad luck. Chavs always know how to cause trouble, even unintentionally.

I like the $2.00 bill remark. Should I spend my $600 rebate on one $600 hooker? Or 600 $1 hookers? :)

What's that flat, rectangular white stuff I see on so many desks? It appears to have ink or something on it! It doesn't look like any computer peripheral I've ever seen! I don't ever have any stuff like that touch my desk, so I don't know where it's coming from! :D

1: Nice setup.

2: That strange white stuff is for us antique collectors. I bought a Wacom Bamboo so I could reduce the need for such things when I doodle, draw a diagram. :)

Except for the bike on the screen, that looks like a doctors waiting area.

Get some paper! :p

Unfortunately there are still plenty of businesses that require signed hardcopy contracts that I have to deal with.

Reading schematics by computer is a royal pain in the arse, too.

For a drink, not counseling right?

It's a new Apple Store service- the all new iNtervention :D

Anyways, beer tastes nicer out of a nicked pint glass. It's like your car drives nicer when it's clean- pure science at work...

Omg, do not get me started. <see my attached pic, which i already posted> We're training 2 salespeople who don't know how to turn off the computer in the office, much less check email. I had to fax several documents to them yesterday, because they couldn't figure out how to open an email attachment, and I got too frustrated to continue the conversation. I just spent $250 on printer ink, and that might last 3 months if I'm lucky. I know I know, it's a training issue, but I'm a redhead and I have the temper to go with it! lol
