Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and are enjoying your new iPhone's.

I managed to get a hold of an iPhone 7 Plus last night (i know i got lucky!) and went to get it from the store which was a train ride away. Once i got there i was in the queue and when i was seen the specialist put me into the program with ease and it was a good customer experience as always.

I got home, excited as you may expect and unboxed the phone straight away and applied my screen protector and put the case on. Here are some pics :D

My first impressions

The phone feels fantastic in the hand. It is a big phone but I will get used to that as this is the first plus model i have owned.

The screen is fine with me there is a warmish tint to it but i do not mind although i have a theory that i will be posting tomorrow after i have some time with the phone so watch this space. The camera is AMAZING i love it and will post some pictures that i have taken from it soon. I will create my own thread for them as i will keep it updated with new pics frequently.

The speakers are great i love the volume and the stereo speakers is a great feature.

The home button. What can i say i'm so surprised i thought that i was going to hate it but i love it! Apple really made the home button well even though it is solid state it feels so good and the haptic feedback makes it feel like you are clicking an actual button.

The software as a whole is great and i love how the new taptic engine is present in most common scenarios such as bringing down the notification centre and other tasks.

I cannot comment on battery life yet.

There is one issue though and no i am not exaggerating it. I do have HISSGATE. At first i did not care as i have to put my ear against the phone but the issue really is present on the phone or recording a video. So I am not happy with that but I will just wait to get another model later on down the line when more stock comes.

Hope this thread helped and sorry for the bad quality pics i used my iPad Air 2.

Take care :D :apple:

Whats with the charging block? I just got an old little square one lol. Take it you aren't from the US?

Can you hear it when you are recording them or when you play it back? And if when playing back, do you have to do it at full volume?

You can hear it throughout the playthrough regardless of volume.

Thanks. I do have the hissgate issue but ill just get the phone replaced.

I recently switched to a Samsung. Great phone and OS, but I found myself missing too much on iOS, so I switched back and am loving my 7 as well. You'll always find that the complainers are louder than the folks that are satisfied.
