I hope that they eventually come out with Snails Maccents. I don't like the idea of completely covering my MacBook with vinyl, but a strategically placed snail (or 3-4) would be awesome :D

The garden maccent has a snail included with it, its just one but its there.

I was all set to get a macstyle more for the scratch protection than anything but then I realised that it is cut out where the design is at not printed so it leaves that part open to scratches and none of these vinly companies make one that will cover the side part of the top they just cover the very top. I want something that provides good scratch protection for the whole top. I thought about ordering a 15" one and cutting it but I'm not the best cutter in the world and don't want it looking all cheap and ragged on the edges.

I'd kind of like a white the same shade as the macbook so it still looks the same just providing protection. I tried a invisible thing but the one I got had two scratches on the adhesive side and I couldn't stand to try again and get my laptop wet again so they gave me a refund.

My friend asked me what i wanted for christmas yesterday and i told her that i wasn't sure. Now that i have seen those Macstyles i am going to ask for the lime green fairy one. It would be great though if they did them all plain though.

Can't help but wonder, shouldn't there be some pieces of the MacStyles that would cover the bottom part of the Macbook? Sort of like the Invisible Shield, and what about when removing it, wouldn't it have some left over residue on it? Since Macbooks are hot machines and they might melt some of the Decals..

On another note the Red Mac Styles are hot, and I wouldn't mind investing in one. :p

I'm pretty sure that this newfangled "red" hue was invented a few years before Bono's marketing campaign. The historical record includes evidence that it existed as early as the 1960s.

Anecdotes suggest that "red" items may have been produced decades, or even centuries, earlier, but this remains a matter of heated debate.

Actually, I was thinking the look was a great match to the Product:RED iPod. :) And I think it's a great cause... although, let's keep it real... if you want to really help Africa, buying Apple hardware is not the most expedient route. It's a nice symbol, but it is a symbol.... :)

Somebody makes a red case for the MB Pro. They're working on a C2D and MB model. Thought it was a nice compromise. I do kinda wish they'd have a (RED) iMac, MacBook, whatever. Would match my nano, plus it goes to a good cause. :D

I think white looks lots more stylish. Sort of the everyone has the same thing future-esque look, if that makes any sense.:p

Slick look!

I wonder though, will that adhesive damage the finish at all on the casing?
I thought about doing a vinyl job on a white Macbook C2D since both my roomies are vinyl graphic designers so Free vinyl = Design change every month for fun :D
