My review of the Orzly DuoStand w/ pictures

Anyone got the gold Orzly stand? Looks like it compliments the gold iPhone well!

Curious if anyone who has this stand can comment on how their iPhone charging cable is holding up. In all the pictures I've seen the stand puts a sharp bend in the cable when you're standing the phone vertically and you pass the cable through the hole at the bottom. I'm worried that this will put too much stress on the cable and cause it to fray easily. In fact, one review on Amazon mentions this specifically. Has anyone else with this stand run into anything similar?

Had my stand for nearly three months, no issues.

Thankfully I've had mine for quite a while now (ordered it back when it was on pre-order a few months back), so I can finally comment on how it's been standing the test of time....

Fortunately, I have had no such issues with mine. (I actually have two of them, and the same can be said for both). If using the official cable with this, fortunately there is no way the cable can get damaged. There is a high gap where the cable comes out. Back when I purchased my second one, I also noticed the reviewer who mentioned the cable issue (which I thought odd being as mine did not suffer from this). But then some clever person pointed out that they had been using a non official cable with theirs (which was longer, and therefore did not fit like the Apple ones do). So I think that seems to be why some people had reported this issue, whilst the rest of us were simply not experiencing this problem.

oh my god this is £4.99 on orzly's website
for those in the UK it is also very cheap on amazon as well

Have not seen this but i have just grabbed 2 of them. The youtube videos for this look good and finding this review here as helped as well
