No. Not quite there. It's not very satisfying to write with a stylus with this app. When it is as good as penultimate, I will only use Noterize.
Do you suffer slight lag when handwriting in Noterize? It's not too bad on my ipad, but sometimes it can't keep up. Just curious, because some apps appear to have zero lag.

The handwriting is decent if unspectacular, it does the job, and the palm protect has worked flawlessly well for me so far. Like someone said, when it gets smoother, I'll only use Noterize. For drawings and doodles during lectures it's good enough.
The best ink app I have come across might be iDraft, although it has no wrist protection, but is free for now. Hopefully that comes in a future update. Considering getting Penultimstr because of this.

I bought Noterize few days ago and have played with it - OP, you are right! This is a great app for note takers in school!
And I love the "Palm Protect" feature. Although it is not perfect and the handwriting still lags, it works fine when you get used to it. The trick is to apply GENTLE and EVEN pressure on palm while writing. It takes a while to practice that. But now I kinda mastered it and am writing freely
Noterize definitely lags compared to other note apps. I hope this will be improved in the future
