I am having serious issues out of nowhere with my gmail account in Apple's mail app.

I have deleted the account several times. I can receive mail without issue, it is sending mail that is the problem. Sometimes I will have a reply and it will make the sending sound but it will go no where. It won't even appear in the outbox. I have tried to check out the settings with no luck.

Any suggestions or tips? I have searched the forum as well as google and nothing I have found helps.
