I had my GF switch from verizon to tmobile over the weekend. She was paying over $100 a month with verizon. She is now paying $60 a month with a new nexus 5 and gets a 12% corporate discount.

The only place I've been that I didn't have service so far was inside a movie theater. Everywhere else is fine. As long as you are in a major area, service will be fine. And with what they are doing, it is very worth it to switch.

That would be a deal-breaker for me. I know not everyone would feel the same. I couldn't go two hours say without service on my phone. A loved one could have an emergency, etc.

So my battery results haven't been accurate enough to post on here for the past couple days, as I have been doing a lot of music transferring over USB since then (about 6GB worth thanks to friends telling me about different bands...) so there are places where there's a charge spike. But, even though I have done that, I have noticed that my battery life is far superior to my S3. I listened to music on the bus with bass boost EQ, while texting a friend through hangouts. I'm a little over halfway through the school day, I haven't plugged the phone in at all, and I have 85% left.

How can you change the on screen buttons to make them exactly like stock android? Is it possible to do this without root?

On 4.4 Google made that change that makes the menu button appear always within the app, but it appears that LG hasn't change the on screen menu button on their 4.4 update...

I did a battery test for light to medium usage. I unplugged it yesterday around 11AM. It has been on for 29 hours and is at 47%.

I don't think it is possible without rooting the phone.

Even after updating to 4.4, the menu key is still there. Unlikely LG would replace it anytime soon.
