Samsung also released 5 0 in parts of the world before usa got it.they are now on 5.01 while we just got 5.0

I love the OEM's trying to one up each other in getting their updates out--just means quicker updates for all of us.

Just got it. So far all the Lollipop nightmares that people have been posting about haven't happened for me. Like the new notifications better too.

Technically no, I believe HTC started releasing to the M8 late last month in Europe and Developer Edition and Unlocked models received it early January. As far as US carriers go, yes, Samsung beat HTC by a couple days (Sprint M8 has started to receive its update).

Ah okay. At least it seems they're all doing a decent job of updating. Even Sony promised their update would come soon too I believe.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Samsung released Lollipop way before HTC. I got my update on the last week of December and the M8 didn't got it until like two weeks ago.

ATT sucks. The S5 just got 4.4.4 on ATT while every other carrier got 5.0.

My Note 3 on AT&T has had tons and tons of updates to the apps lately and I'm guessing we're about 2 weeks out on the 5.0 update. Just a guess based on last year this time getting kit kat with simliar updates just before we did.
