Just a thought - if Swirly can use o2's MMS settings and account, why can't this? I had Swirly working a treat in my JB days!

Not if you've jailbroken your iPhone, which you must've to use SwirlyMMS.

Yes we do have the same warranty. A simple restore before you go in to Apple with any problems or even just making it look stock by hiding and 3rd party apps, etc.. and Apple wont know the difference. Our warranty is as good as yours

That's assuming you're able to do a restore or hide apps if your iPhone has gone pear shaped. ;)

Getting boring now. I've had 3 replacement phones now and they were all jailbroken/ reStored. Let's get back on topic and stop turning every topic in to a should I/ shouldn't I jail break

Oh chill. Don't you know a ;) when you see one?

And OT, I've been a user of iPhoneMMS, rated it for what it provided and now have this app and am more than happy with what it does.

Cool. Never used MMS, so I don't have a PIN, but it's good to know I can if the situation arises.

I would love to get that here in the US, i never send MMS but i usually receive alot and www.viewmymessage.com is becoming really annoying.

The only thing is that in the US carriers charge you for receiving and sending MMS so i dont think receiving would be free here.

If you pay for SMS from AT&T, then this already includes MMS. The iPhone just doesn't allow it - but we certainly are still paying for it.

These developers should port this over to the US. Hello, developers? Why can't we have this in the US? We're a BIG market.

This is probably just me but when I search for 'MMS' in the App Store on my iPhone, it doesn't find it. Is it called something else?

Thanks guys

Sweet app, finally an app actually worth downloading...thanks a bunch to the developers of this app. It is a big step in the right direction.

Shame that it is up to a 3rd party developer to help bring this iPhone upto basic cell phone standard...lol.

Also nice the UK has this app before USA and that's probably why it is not on the front page of the news...this is a big development especially for those people that do not want to jailbreak.

Now can we have copy and paste and office applications, better e-mail and photo management...not useless things like streetview.

This is also true of most of all the other functions on the iPhone.

OK, so i just installed this app and got someone (also on O2) to send me a MMS message..

I got got the text from O2 saying go to the website and enter my mobile number and pin.. but obviously gotta enter these into the MMS app instead.

Entered the details in the app and for the past hour been getting the message "Login Failed":

So then I go to o2.co.uk/m and enter my login details there and it works fine.. i can see the mms that was sent to me...

Am i doing something wrong then?

also how do you save the photos you receive?

thanks

EDIT:
Looks like the app is not functioning as O2 may have changed something on their end?
This explains why I am unable to "log in" via the MMS app itself..

Great app, works really well. Well done guys.

To the previous poster, you save images by just pressing on the image and the save option comes up, same as for any picture on the phone.

This looks like a great app. I want it. And I also have had an itch all my life to move to England, but its just not feasible right now. Oh, well. I'll keep dreaming.

It's a good reason to move to england... just so you can use the app... brilliant :D

Ahh nice info. I'm having the same problem - wonder what is causing this and if O2 are unhappy about the app?

No, really, I'm 1/4 English, I love the accent, I love Europe, I can speak the language (can't speak any other European languages), I love the grayness, I love the people, I love English music, been there a couple of times, it's just a matter of time...

just a heads up that its working now via the app...
the dev's have managed to sort it out on their end i guess..

only thing not working for me at the moment is the "Account Credit" which says service is temporarily unavailable.. but receiving now works fine..
