I'm hoping that NAVIGON is taking advantage of our travel times, now that they can get that info from us if we have the traffic live feature.

They are ... I was driving through Seattle the other day, and an alert dynamically appeared based on upcoming traffic situation ... it actually showed me a couple of alternate routes w/ travel time trade-offs, and I picked one ... it's not the most intuitive or easy to use (needs some improvements) - but it was helpful ...

Navigon is great provided you have a 3Gs. For those of us with a 3G, the interface is so laggy its damn near unusable.

No kidding. Navigon tweeted that it was released.

I don't recall NAVIGON tweeting about a US release.

Regarding any holdup, it's only been a week.

Sure some apps seem to have been approved pretty fast lately, but in the past the review process has taken ~2 weeks, so I wouldn't get too worried just yet.

It seems that each version of NAVIGON is reviewed independently of each other, and unfortunetly the US version is sitting on someones desk that is more slow than the other reviewers!

I am pretty sure Apple is a little more strict about US releases? I don't know just a thought

MobileNavigator iPhone Update 1.4.0 available now ! Find the press release here: http://tinyurl.com/ydewcxq

looks like it might be talking about Europe version. So my bad.

I do sympathize for 3G owners, because the app sure is darn slow on my wife's 3G.

But then again EVERYTHING seems to be extremely slow on the 3G. Once you use a 3GS, you will hate picking up a 3G for anything.
