Saw this article, it made me chuckle... and roll my eyes. Thought I would share.
More expected than funny. Apple made a big splash so you can expect people to play off it, to try gain some marketing traction.
Other than that it is an interesting contrast to the iPad. The Tm2 is supposed to be one of the better windows tablets, and it highlights the problems with this old kitchen sink approach. It weighs nearly 5lbs/$1000 and not really that hot of a windows laptop with a
1.3GHz processor and intel GMA integrated graphics. . Not great windows machine at all. If you go to HPs site, it is their lowest rated laptop in the ultra portable category.
In the end touch adds VERY LITTLE to the windows experience, you are much better off getting a touch-less laptop. For the same money HP will sell you Dv6t with a
Quad i7 with a 1GB discrete Nvidia GT 320M (and a ton of other stuff).
No wonder windows tablets keep failing.
I still don't understand this ongoing vendetta some people have against the iPad. Why do you care? Why this fixation on a product you have no plans to buy? The only thing I can figure is it is a bunch of folks who love Microsoft products and are trying attack Apple every chance they get.
Some here are unhappy that iPad didn't live up to their expectations and they are venting spleen, I have done that when I didn't like a released product (Honada CR-Z was a recent example) but my endurance is about 2 or 3 days. It is amazing people are still fixated on something they don't like weeks later.
There are clearly several others that are trolling, just look at a bit of posting history, every post is designed to annoy iPad fans, I will never understand this. All you can do is add them to your ignore list an hope others do the same, because you still end up seeing their posts when the get quoted.
